Nick Jordan

AEA • SAG-AFTRA

Having starred in his first play at five years old, Jordan moved from Boston to New York City to continue his success in the entertainment industry. After completing the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts’ rigorous two-year training program in a single year, he transitioned to on-camera work, collaborating with directors and writers from some of the best MFA film schools in the country. Jordan also made a splash in NYC’s theater scene, receiving a Best Actor Award nomination for his work at the Midtown International Theater, and making his Off Broadway debut with the prestigious Pan Asian Repertory Theater. When not working, Jordan enjoys playing tag with his Catahoula Jackson and playing tabletop role playing games.

Upcoming Projects

Dracula at Actors Theater of Louisville

Back by popular demand, Jordan returns to Actors Theatre of Louisville in the title role to lead the award-winning* cast of Kate Hamill's Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy.

In this inventive adaptation that bounces between humor and horror, Hamill reimagines Bram Stoker’s vampire classic as a full-throated battle cry against toxic masculinity. No damsels in distress, no romanticized villains—just a gleeful stake through the heart of the patriarchy.

*Winner of the 2023 Arts-Louisville Best Ensemble Award

Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy

Jordan stars as the titular Count in Kate Hamill’s acclaimed "feminist revenge fantasy" revamp of the classic play for the Actors Theater of Louisville’s 2023 Fall Season. The production is being brought back by popular demand, after premiering last season.

“Nick Jordan’s performance as the title character is distinct from the swaggering macho of previous years; a smaller yet still suave and almost supercilious comic rendering that is delightfully satirical, having fun with the most stereotypical tropes of the iconic vampire. Jordan is very funny yet generates sufficient threat and menace to serve the story."
“…a suitably oily Nick Jordan...Citizen Wong “emphasizes theatre's responsibility to educate, to challenge, and to examine our painful past and present. And on that, the play succeeds mightily.”
— Talkin' Broadway review for Citizen Wong
"Beyond the adaptation, there was plenty to like, as well. ACTORS WERE STRONG...Nick Jordan (Cash) PERFECTLY CAPTURED AN AFFABLE DOUCHE with the hair of a young Guy Fieri."
— Case Aiken, NYTheater.com reviewer for Julio!
...and one of Incident's MOST COMPELLING ACTORS, NICK JORDAN, who portrayed the duplicitous General's aide, McAllister, with DEFT MACHIAVELLIAN EASE, and who we shall surely see more of...
— Daniel Neiden, Edge Media Reviewer for Pan Asian Repertory Theater’s Incident at Hidden Temple
Stillwell's aide...a DOMINEERING Nick Jordan."
— Theater Scene Review for Incident at Hidden Temple
The cast of characters and HIGH TEMPERATURE PERFORMANCES in Theater for the New City's production of A Hard Rain, make for memorable company."

Clue at Theatre Workshop of Nantucket

This summer, Jordan is back onstage leading the cast of Clue as Wadsworth the butler with the Theatre Workshop of Nantucket!

“The characters in Clue take themselves and the outrageous situations of the play deeply seriously, and the ensemble finds the comedy in playing those truths. It’s a near masterclass in how farce should be performed.”

Voice Over

"Working with Nick was a unique experience for me. When I finally found Nick and cast him, we did not have the luxury of an extended rehearsal period. However, Nick jumped right into the material and was more than ready and willing to put in the work to make up for the short time-span. Nick asked SHARP, THOUGHT-PROVOKING questions which allowed me to discover my story in new ways. Nick delivered what I wanted, as well as showing RANGE AND FLEXIBILITY in taking direction and making adjustments throughout a tiring and intense shoot. Nick's UPBEAT ATTITUDE to the project and the crew made everyone's lives easier, and I would be more than happy to work with Nick again in the future."
— Evan Metzold, NYU Director of Siren CalL
